Who are we?

Still Water Scarves is a charitable trust set up by a group of women who are committed to producing prayer scarves to deepen women's faith and to raise funds to support organisations who are working to restore, protect, and rehabilitate the victims of human trafficking.

Here we introduce you to our key people.

Lisa Emerson - co-founder and trustee

Lisa was the originator of Still Water Scarves, - and co-founder and trustee. She lives in Palmerston North, New Zealand, with her husband, Bruce (and three canine companions). She is a lay preacher at Palmerston North Central Baptist Church. In her day job, she is a Professor of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at Massey University.

 Robyn Verdonk - co-founder and trustee, artistic director

Robyn is a co-founder and trustee for Still Water Scarves, and its artistic director. She lives on a beautiful block of land in the Manawatu, with her husband, two alpacas and a lot of bees! She is an artist, and a teacher aid at her local school.

Emily MacKay - model and social media manager

 

Emily MacKay, our model and social media manager, lives in Wellington, New Zealand, studying law and education psychology at Victoria University of Wellington.

 

Lizzy MacKay - photographer and designer

Lizzy MacKay is a fine arts student at Massey University's College of Creative Arts, Wellington, New Zealand. She is passionate about art, photography, architecture and all aspects of design. She is the photographer for our website and all our social media.
